Golden Pizza Gets Accessible with Online Ordering
Worcester, MA - June 10, 2008 - Golden Pizza, a restaurant with six locations throughout Worcester and Shrewsbury just made life easier for its customers including those with hearing or vision impairments.
The restaurant's new online ordering service makes takeout or delivery ordering far more accessible to people with vision or hearing loss.
Any customer can now point a web browser to http://www.goldenpizza.net and order a favorite pizza, sub or entree with a few clicks of the mouse and keyboard.
This is particularly good news for handicapped customers. Deaf and hard of hearing individuals can now place their orders directly instead of using telephone interpreter services. Blind customers now have a fully accessible menu which they can peruse with their computers instead of relying on their memory or sighted assistance.
To celebrate their new service, Golden Pizza offers a Large cheese pizza for $6 to every customer who signs up to order online.
Once you register by clicking the "Order Online" button and filling out the registration form, you will receive an email coupon which can be used once with any future online order.
Golden Pizza's online ordering is available at any of their shops including 271 Grafton Street, Shrewsbury and its five Worcester shops at 1168 Main Street, 107 Chandler Street, 1137 Grafton Street, 453 Lincoln Street and 20 Auburn Street.
Golden Pizza's online ordering is provided by Pizza Galaxy, www.pizzagalaxy.com, a national provider of online ordering services for restaurants.
"Once they try it, people prefer online ordering," said Rudy Vener, owner and founder of Pizza Galaxy. "One mother with eight kids said she refuses to order from a restaurant if they don't have online ordering."
